Liberal Democrats announce their candidates for the RBWM Local Elections on May 4th Windsor Liberal Democrats are putting up candidates across Windsor, Ascot and Datchet, Horton and Wraysbury. Read on to find out about them and their ideas for the council:
Don't Lose your Voice on May 4th- Make sure you have the required ID to vote in local elections. From May onwards you will need an acceptable form of photographic identification in order to vote in person at a local election (ditto for general elections after October).
Julian Tisi, Liberal Democrat Parlimentary Spokesperson for Windsor is demanding the Government cancel plans to hike the average household energy bill by £500 in April, and bring in a tax on the "bonanza bonuses" of oil and gas bosses. The party is calling for cuts to people's bills instead, combined with a new energy support package for businesses, leisure centres, schools and hospitals across Windsor and Maidenhead.
The UK must once again stand tall, leading on the world stage and working closely with those who share our interests – including, above all, our partners in Europe.
No child should ever have to experience sexual abuse. These are horrifying crimes that cause so much harm to the children who are victims. We will keep up the pressure so that the action needed to make our communities safe all children finally happens.
