Lib Dem MEP Sharon Bowles, took time out from her important job as Chair of the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee (ECON) in the European Parliament, to join Julian Tisi and other local Lib Dems for a day campaigning in Windsor today, Monday 29th March.

A councillor who dared to speak out has been suspended from the Tory party days after a political adviser's plot to oust the council's deputy leader was exposed.

Labour Candidate comes out in favour of closing fire station

Speaking on BBC radio Berkshire's Andrew Peach show on 16th March the Labour Candidate for Windsor, who lives in London, came out in support of trusting the fire authority to make the optimum allocation of resources. Speaking on the same show local Lib Dem Julian Tisi said he was extremely proud that the then Lib Dem Council had stopped the complete closure of the Fire Station in 2006 and that he was fully in support of the fire station remaining open 24/7.
