Prospective Parliamentary Candidate Antony Wood joined with young Liberal Democrats on Monday, putting their environmental principles into practice out on the delivery circuit.

"Young people are already a big part of our campaign. I've been amazed by the response of the youth of Windsor to what we have to offer it really puts paid to the idea that the under-25's are apathetic. The party's principled stand on the Iraq war, and our opposition to top-up fees has helped dispel this myth," said Mr. Wood

"A lot of people are surprised to find us working out in the cold January weather. But the point is we're the only party which is actually looking forward to the General Election," Mr. Wood said. "I like to cycle round the Wards in the Constituency as it's easier to talk to people and really get a feel for what they have to say. Cycling also backs up our long-standing commitment to eco-friendly policies and sustainable transportation. Voters realise that only the Liberal Democrats will reverse the Labour legacy of unclean air, unsafe power and an inadequate rail network."
