• Politics in the Windsor Constituency at the moment is confusing. Who do you vote for to stop the Conservatives and their damaging hard right, hard Brexit?

• The Liberal Democrats have come second in almost every election in the Windsor Constituency since it was recreated in 1997.

• The Lib Dems have come first or second in every local election in Windsor & Maidenhead since our party was formed in 1988.

• The Lib Dems have run the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead twice and held the balance of power twice.

• The Lib Dems came second in the local elections in Windsor & Maidenhead at the start of May, beating Labour who came fourth.

• The Lib Dems came second in the European Elections in Windsor & Maidenhead at the end of May, whilst Labour came sixth.

Labour can't win here, votes in ballot boxes in May and polling conducted for serious tactical voting sites in the last couple of months show that the Lib Dems are in second place here now. Labour's position on Europe is unclear with Jeremy Corbyn telling viewers of the BBC's leaders' Question Time that he wouldn't vote for remain if there was a People's Vote.
