Ahead of Remembrance Day and in recognition of local sacrifice, a cross-party group came together in Windsor to put up poppies across the town.

This was again organised by Cllr Karen Davies (LD, Clewer East), who was joined by Jack Rankin MP for Windsor (Con), Cllr Devon Davies, Cllr Julian Tisi, Cllr Mark Wilson (LD, Eton & Castle), Cllr Amy Tisi (LD, Clewer East), Cllr Alison Carpenter (Ind, Clewer & Dedworth East), Paul Smith from Berkshire Poppy Appeal  and other local volunteers.

Cllr Karen Davies said, "Remembrance is the shared inheritance of the nation. It's really important that this is something done by representatives of all parties together, in recognition of the shared sacrifice of all."
