Parking fee hike for Marlow?

Increases in parking fees are being considered in Marlow by Wycombe District Council.

The move has come while Bucks County Council is pushing through plans to take responsibility for parking enforcement from police.

Council-employed wardens could take charge from spring 2008.

Wycombe District Council spokesman Catherine Spalton said they were in the process of reviewing parking prices and restrictions across the region.

"The plans for Marlow have been well received, and any price increases in the town will be relatively minimal compared to High Wycombe," she said.
