Villagers in Sunningdale are being offered a chance to have their say on the future of an iconic site.

The government-owned Sunningdale Park in Larch Avenue contains a grade two listed building Northcote House that was built in 1930, as well as more recent buildings currently run as a hotel and conference centre.

It was used in the past by the Civil Service College and later as a training facility by the National School of Government, although operations stopped a year ago.

The Sunningdale agreement on power sharing in Northern Ireland was signed there on December 9, 1973.

Now the government's cabinet office is holding two open evenings at the Evelyn Sharp Centre in Sunningdale Park on Friday, July 19 between 4pm and 8pm and Saturday, July 20 between 11am and 3pm to discuss the site's future.

All are welcome.
