Liberal Democrats in Windsor are backing the campaign of newly formed environmental campaign "Plastic Free Windsor"

The campaign, which originates from well known anti-polution group "Surfers Against Sewage", has taken off across the country and aims to drastically reduce the amount of single use plastic getting into the environment.

Local Lib Dem Karen Davies spoke to Paul Hinto of Plastic Free Windsor:

"What Paul and the team at Plastic Free Windsor are trying to achieve is really inspiring. They are really ambitious and hope to achieve enough change in Windsor to allow the town to qualify for the Surfers Against Sewage Plastic free Status over the next year."

"The local Lib Dems are pleased to support this campaign," says local community activist Amy Tisi.
