Windsor Conservatives last week launched an all out attack on the Olympic Delivery Agency over concerns about transport chaos during the 2012 Olympic Rowing at Dorney Lake. Liberal Democrats warned about these problems when the Conservatives cancelled plans for an M4 Park & Ride in 2007.

Windsor Conservatives cancelled the M4 Park & Ride. Now Wycombe is getting a new Park & Ride instead.

The attacks were led by Conservative Colin Rayner, the man who vetoed the the previous Olympic Travel plans when he cancelled the M4 Park & Ride.

"The Conservatives caused this problem when they cancelled Windsor's M4 Park & Ride, now they are seeking to spread the blame on to others." said the Lib Dems' Julian Tisi.

The Lib Dems continue to support the principle of a properly planned, located and financed M4 Park & Ride to keep traffic out of the centres of Windsor, Eton and Datchet.
