Residents Parking Discount Petition

Karen Davies Amy Tisi Parking Advantage Card residents' discount (H Tisi)

Local Lib Dems opposed the Conservatives' Advantage Card Parking Discount Cut

Like many local authorities in tourist areas, The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead seeks to maximise revenues through high parking charges directed a tourists.

With the council using parking charges as a "tourist tax", and no credible public transport alternatives, it's essential the council protects the town's retail businesses' local trade by differentiating between residents and visitors through reintroduction of a residents' discount.

Failure to differentiate between residents and visitors will destroy the town's local retail businesses.
