Voters from The Republic of Ireland
Citizens of The Republic of Ireland who are living in the United Kingdom can vote in all elections.
The Republic of Ireland was formerly part of the United Kingdom.
Under the provisions of the Ireland Act 1949, citizens of the Republic of Ireland are not to be treated as aliens.
Consequently Citizens of the Republic of Ireland living in the United Kingdom are entitled to vote in all elections by virtue of their Irish Citizenship.
