    You could be forgiven for thinking that council business winds down for the summer holidays, but this month has been as busy as ever and filled with a variety meetings, campaigns and resident casework. As always, you can phone, email us or contact us through social media (Facebook, Twitter, Next Door) to raise any issues with the ward or the council in general. We look forward to hearing from you.

    RBWM Liberal Democrats held an Executive meeting on the evening of 3rd August to consider the application of Cllr Gurch Singh (St. Mary's) to join the national party.

    This meeting considered a report, prepared in strict adherence to the provisions of the Liberal Democrat constitution, which thoroughly examined all the accusations made against him by the local Conservative councillor group. It included evidence submitted by several of their members, by Cllr Singh and by members of the public, who were witnesses to some of the events.

    The Lib Dem's Residents' Parking Zone (RPZ) Campaign hit the streets this week.

    "We understand the council is short of money,"

    says long term local Lib Dem Campaigner Julian Tisi,

    "but we do not see why residents who are unlucky enough to have bad parking problems, should be singled out to make good the debts and deficits the Conservative led council has run up over the last decade."

    Windsor Lib Dems launch Alexandra Gardens consultation

    WINDSORIANS can express their views on the future of Alexandra Gardens as a campaign group launches an online consultation.

    The local Liberal Democrat-led group - 'Save Alexandra Gardens 2020' - have launched a public online consultation to get the views of residents about what they think should happen to the land along Windsor's Riverside and Alexandra Gardens.

    THE Alexandra Gardens saga continues as the Liberal Democrats accuse the ruling Tories proceeding with development plans during Covid-19.

    The Windsor Lib Dem led 'Save the Alexandra Gardens 2020' campaign group released a statement accusing the Conservatives of progressing development plans at the garden's car and coach park and awarding contracts to develop detailed plans for the area under the cover of the pandemic and before a public consultation is launched.
