No to Night Flights
LOCAL Liberal Democrats are campaigning to see a final end to night flights from Heathrow.
Currently 16 flights a night are allowed but there are loop holes that allow a lot more. Between 6 am and 7am another 65 flights are allowed.
In December 2012 there will be a new night flight program and it is important that the residents of Windsor are heard in the negotiations that are start shortly.
Local campaigner Antony Wood says, "These night flights are hugely disruptive to Windsor residents and do not have any real economic benefit as almost all of the flights are transit flights"
