Britain's democracy is at a turning point. Not in living memory has confidence in politicians, trust in the system, or faith in the government's capacity to change things been as low as it is today. The expenses scandal has exposed a culture of arrogance and secrecy that has long been at the heart of our democracy.
That's why Nick Clegg has launched the Lib Dems'
"Take Back Power Initiative"
Nick is demanding that the current expenses scandal is turned to good with root and branch reform of how we conduct politics in this country.
"These are ideas that the Lib Dems' have been campaigning on for years, but the recent revelations have really brought home to the public at large the importance of many of them."
says Windsor Lib Dems' Julian Tisi.
